Type design and artwork for Greg Janssen's original play 'Animal Pharmacy'. The musical production is set in the 19th century's travelling road exhibits and medicine shows. The type design is based on a Sanborn  thin font from 19th century Sanborn Map Company maps as well as carnivalesque fonts such as Quentin caps used here in the banner. The artwork incorporates a hand-painted feel that you would find on snake oil bottles and Barnum and Bailey's advertisements.
